Why I Do This Work

In 1879, my 2× great-grandfather William Goddard was sentenced to seven years in prison in Nottingham. His name was missing from my great grandfathers birth certificate in 1878. No one ever spoke of him.
It took years of careful research and later DNA evidence to uncover the full truth. In the end, I discovered that when my grandfather was born, William was living just a few doors away all along.
That moment changed everything.
Since then, I’ve helped families uncover stories of resilience, hardship, courage, and connection, often starting with nothing more than grandparents’ names or even parent names.
